We understand that the internet environment is not 100% secure and will do our utmost to ensure the security of all information you provide to us. However, the internet inherently has security risks, so like all companies, we cannot fully guarantee the security of personal information you submit through our services. 6. How We Use Cookies and Similar Technologies
When you visit the Hyperleap website, browse emails sent by us or on our behalf, or otherwise use our content (including advertisements), we automatically collect certain types of usage data and device information. We (and our partners) typically use tracking technologies such as cookies (small text files sent by a website and stored on your device), pixel tags (or web beacons) to collect this information. Such tracking technologies can collect your browser information, device data, and browsing activity records, including IP address, browser type, device model, device unique identifier, specific date and time of your visit to the Hyperleap website, source website and the website you visited upon leaving, and data on your interaction with the services and content (e.g., web pages viewed, visit frequency, whether you opened an email or clicked an email link, whether you accessed services through multiple devices, product information viewed and clicked, and other similar actions on the Hyperleap website).
We (and our partners) collect information through cookies and similar tracking technologies to ensure the proper functioning of the Geek+ website, enhance your browsing experience, recommend content that may interest you (including targeted content and advertisements), recognize your login status on the Geek+ website and enable specific features, enable cross-device identification, monitor aggregate usage metrics related to the services (such as total visits, visit date/time, pages viewed, and visitor demographics), and continuously optimize service quality and user experience. We can only read cookie data provided by the Geek+ website.
Through cookie technology, we can store data such as your preferences. When you visit again, we will display the necessary information; or the Geek+ website will use cookies to identify your source website to track the effectiveness of Geek+ website advertisements.
Your browser may provide controls to manage cookies or other tracking technologies, or to reject cookies. You can manage your cookie settings according to your preferences and also clear all cookies saved on your computer. Most web browsers have the ability to block cookies, but if you choose this option, you will need to reset your user preferences each time you visit the Geek+ website. For information on how cookies work and how to manage them, please visit the allaboutcookies.org website. To control the Flash cookies we occasionally use on specific websites, please click here.
In addition to cookies, we use other similar technologies on the Geek+ website, such as web beacons and pixel tags. For example, emails sent to you may contain link addresses pointing to content on the Geek+ website. When you click that link, we track the click behavior to understand your product or service preferences, thereby proactively optimizing the customer service experience. Web beacons are usually identifiers embedded as transparent images in websites or emails. Through pixel tags in emails, we can determine whether the email has been opened. If you do not wish to have your activity tracked in this way, you can unsubscribe from our email list at any time.
For more information on how we use cookies and similar technologies, please refer to our Cookie Policy.
Interest-Based Advertising Research
We use interest-based advertising technology to deliver precise and relevant online advertisements to you. We also allow third-party online advertising networks, social media platforms, and other service providers to collect long-term data on your use of the services in order to display personalized advertisements to you on the Hyperleap website, third-party online services, and the various devices you use.
Typically (though not always), information used for interest-based advertising is collected through cookies or other similar tracking technologies. We may provide specific identifiers (such as email addresses or user IDs) or hashed data to third-party advertising partners to identify you across different devices or to deliver relevant advertisements to you on social media platforms you may use. In addition to interest-based advertising, third-party partners may also use personal information to provide advertising-related services, such as data reporting, ad attribution analysis, market research, and data analysis.
Some web browsers, websites/platforms, and mobile devices allow users to make specific choices regarding interest-based advertising, as described below.
Web Browser Opt-Out Mechanism: You can choose not to receive interest-based advertisements by using the browser opt-out tools and consumer choice mechanisms provided by interest-based advertising self-regulatory organizations via the links below.
You need to perform the opt-out setting separately on each browser and device, because each opt-out action only applies to the specific browser or device you opted out on. If you delete or reset cookies and mobile identifiers, change browsers, or use other devices, any opt-out setting cookies or tools may become invalid, and you will need to perform the opt-out operation again. Even if you choose to stop receiving interest-based advertisements, you may still receive advertisements, but their relevance may decrease.
Some service providers may offer you choices regarding interest-based advertisements. For example, some social media platforms allow you to manage your advertising preference settings directly through their services. For more information, please refer to the privacy policy of the third-party service you are using.
7. Personal Information Access and Control Guide
You have specific rights regarding the personal information we hold. Some rights apply only in specific circumstances as detailed below. We explain below how to exercise these rights. Regarding your deletion request, the following aspects need to be considered:
When personal information is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or processed (e.g., after unsubscribing from newsletters or advertising notifications).
You withdraw your consent on which the data processing is based (and we have no other legal ground for processing).
You exercise your right to object to the processing of personal information.
The personal information has been unlawfully processed.
The deletion is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation.

For compliance with a legal obligation or performing a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller;
For reasons of public interest in the area of public health;
For archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes, or statistical purposes, where the deletion right would likely render impossible or seriously impair the achievement of the objectives of that processing;
For the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
If you request the deletion of personal information that has been made public and there is a legal basis for deletion, we will take reasonable steps and try to notify other third parties that display such personal information or provide links to it, to achieve simultaneous deletion.
Constraining Automated Decision-Making in Information Systems
In certain business scenarios, we may make decisions based solely on non-human automated decision-making mechanisms such as information systems and algorithms. If such decisions significantly affect your legal rights, you may request an explanation from us.

We generally do not charge a fee for reasonable requests. However, if a request is repetitive and exceeds reasonable limits, we may charge a fee based on the specific circumstances. We may reject requests that are: excessively frequent and lack reasonableness, require disproportionate technical effort (e.g., developing a new system or fundamentally changing current practices), may infringe on the legal rights of others, or have extremely low feasibility (e.g., involving information stored on backup tapes).
We may be unable to respond to your request in the following circumstances:
Related to fulfilling obligations imposed by applicable laws and regulations on the relevant personal information controller;
Directly related to national security and national defense;
Directly related to public security, public health, and major public interests;
Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments;
To protect the vital legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals;

If we are unable to respond to your request, we will provide you with an appropriate explanation.
